Episode 1: Math in Medicine feat. Dr. Shanon Peter
Watch the Full Episode Here:
A conversation with Dr. Shanon Peter, a Harvard cum-laude graduate, inspired me when he identified Statistics and Spanish as the most important classes he took during high school to prepare him for his job as a Doctor! As a Statistics teacher looking for ways to motivate her students, I needed more. I sat down with Dr. Peter to talk about his deep love of math and how it plays out in his work in medicine.
Beyond Statistics, would you have guessed that Calculus was the second most helpful math course he had taken?
